Naples 6

Good Friday, 22 April, 2011

Today is my last full day in Naples. I am leaving on the train to Salerno tomorrow. Unlike in Australia, Good Friday is not a holiday. Sunday is more important here. I had a pretty relaxed day. I had spotted a large building on a hill when I went down to the port to catch the boat to Capri. It was only a short walk from Piazza Dante, past Umberto’s apartment building to where another funicular railway line ascended up to Castel S. Elmo. The view from there was spectacular.
