Naples 3

19 April, 2011

Today I went to to Mt. Vesuvius and walked up to the crater rim. Well, not all the way. Just the 200 metres or so from the car park and gift shop. I also visited Herculaneum, the other city destroyed by Vesuvius. It was slightly smaller than Pompeii, but more upper class and in some ways even better preserved.
